Family Fun Challenge

I want to start a Saturday challenge post for families.  Not something to do that day, but you could!  Or you could plan for the next week.   For this first challenge, I pose to you....

Take the family to a local museum

In many cases, museums are free or very low cost.  There are children's specific museums and those suitable for the entire family.  If you have a university near by, check and see if they have a museum on campus.  Maybe a nearby town has a science museum..... that would be excellent!  Or even better, a local living history museum with live reenactments!  

If you get a chance, I would love to hear about your museum visit!   I am planning a storytime at the Michigan History Museum and it has made me want to go seek out others in the area!  Have fun and share what you learned!
